Old Chapel Hill Cemetery Memorial
- OCHCM, LLC shall build a granite columbarium to memorialize those who wish to rest eternally upon the sacred ground of the Old Chapel Hill Cemetery.
- Sunset Memorial & Stone, Ltd. has created a custom columbarium design for 208 niches w/capacity for 448 urns. (see below)
- Structure is compatible in architecture, shape, size, and color with OCHC monuments.
- Favorable juxtaposition of OCHC Memorial next to the UNC Memorial Grove paved pathways to public parking allows easy handicapped access without walking upon adjacent gravesites.

OCHCM, LLC has determined that a granite columbarium situated on our two contiguous plots on the East boundary of the OCHC is the most beneficial use of this sacred property. The design is double-faced containing 208 niches with a total capacity of 448 urns, i.e. 2 urns/std. niche and 3 urns/ascension [lowest tier] niche. The design structure does not rise above the horizontal sight line from any point in the cemetery. The facility shall be known as the Old Chapel Hill Cemetery Memorial (OCHCM).
The Perpetual Care Fund shall provide for maintenance, preservation and all-peril insurance coverage. OCHCM shall contribute $2,000.00/ conveyed niche = some $400,000.00.
